Members,

The SLPOA Negotiating Team has successfully negotiated a tentative agreement regarding our next collective bargaining agreement. This agreement is subject to approval by the full Board of Police Commissioners and requires ratification by our membership prior to becoming effective.  

The contract will be discussed in detail at the next General Membership meeting, which is scheduled for Wednesday, January 28, 2026, at 6pm.  There will be two additional meetings to discuss the contents of the CBA on Thursday, January 29^th at 5pm and Friday, January 30^th at 9am.  Non-SLPOA members who are members of the Police Officer and Sergeant Bargaining Units are welcome to attend.

A ratification vote will be held according to the rules established by the Executive Board.  Those details will be determined at the next regularly scheduled meeting of the Executive Board on Wednesday, January 28^th.
