The legislative session came to a close without the return of a state-appointed Police Board to control the police department.  However, SLPOA was able to get another important piece of legislation passed related to the Civilian Oversight Board recently created by the Board of Alderman.  SLPOA is grateful to the following Legislators for their help in getting this important piece of legislation over the finish line.
