Members,

Governor Mike Kehoe will be at the SLPOA Hall on Thursday, March 27, 2025, at 10am to sign HB495 returning control of the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department to a Governor-appointed board of police commissioners.  Also scheduled to be in attendance is Senator Nick Schroer, Senator Travis Fitzwater and the bill’s sponsor, Representative Brad Christ.

All members and retirees are encouraged and welcome to attend the signing.  Help us show our appreciation by coming out in full force to thank these men for their support and their efforts to get this important and historic piece of legislation over the finish line.  The event will start promptly at 10am, so please plan to be at the SLPOA Hall early.  Doors will open at 9:am.
